Traditional Art / Drawings / Abstract

This was a fun piece to occupy one’s time in between projects. The overall design was inspired by a picture from a book on rocks and fossils.

The detail is thorough (like it wouldn't be) and fine. How long did this take? Just looking at this gives me the feeling like I got more to go with my detailing, and I'm the one who focuses on details, when I was with my friends that is.

I don't think it took that long probably about a night since it's more abstract than figurative. I just went through it like I was writing, just putting lines down and let myself be carried away. I think if you have the outline of something then add to it, shape it out, and put in the detail where it's needed.

Either way, it's still crazy!
When i draw layers upon layers to make fur etc. with pencil crayons, (it took 8 hours non stop to draw the picture of my cat Mr.B .. it's in my gallery) My freaking hand hurts for DAYS!

I become an addict of A535!!!

So I'm impressed that you choose this crazy style of art.. because it's painful to create!... at least for me!

I know about drawing those layers and layers using pencil crayons, that's probably why I don't do that many pencil crayon drawings. I'm going to peruse your gallery some more!
